I have started to dance a few months ago I’m in my mid-thirties and I never had the experience of dancing. I’m trying to learn the steps and I just can’t seem to get it right is there something wrong with me?
This is an issue I have been observing for a very long time. When people begin dancing with no prior experience they feel like giving up too soon. But it’s absolutely not true that you're not capable. On the contrary, I honestly believe that everyone is capable of becoming a good dancer. However, it is very important to first develop good quality and enjoy dancing. Like everything else, it’s a process and hard work is necessary, so is a coach who can guide you but it’s definitely possible.
I have been guiding ladies, men, kids and couples for many years over both live and zoom sessions to improve their technical skills. These skills are crucial for many important aspects of dancing, such as partnership, leading, musicality and performance. One cannot simply start from the rooftop without building a strong foundation. Ladies is there anything more satisfying than looking at your legs and feet in the mirror and enjoying it? I teach and guide dancers at all levels and ages, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Have a good week and keep on dancing.
